This game will be Englands sixth World Cup Qualifier and the team will be looking to keep to their winning ways against a team that they beat 5 0, and that was playing badly. It will be a small hill to climb for Fabio and his men if the team play to their best, but if they play badly then it will be a dog fight and England may have to scrape a victory but that is unlikely. The Kazakhstan team poses no real threat to the stars of the England line up but they could be hard to break up if England dont have the pace of Theo Walcott on the right or Shaun Wright-Phillips. England could also do with a Nicolas Claxton Jersey good performance from the likes of Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard as theypose areal attacking threat when given the ball but they need to use England will be looking to get another big win here to gain confidence before the next game against Andorra which may prove to be a slightly bigger test for England. With England unbeaten so far, they are expected to cruise through this one against Kazakhstan. However with David James mi sing what are Englands options between the sticks. I, among others, think that Robert Green is the perfect candidate for the job; he will be aroung in 2010 and he has had a great season for West Ham whereas Paul Robinson has been, well, mediocre for Blackburn. Then there is Scott Carson. All I will say on the matter is; does he deserve ANOTHERchance? I dont think he has proved himself yet. In the defensive ranks it looks like the normal line-up apart from Rio Ferdinand who is injured so it is widely expected that Matthew Upson will earn his 15thcap for Englandand maybe Gary Neville will get a chance to play instead of Glenn Johnson but would that decision be justified? After Carrick was ruled out of the Kazakhstan game, James Milner was moved up from the U21s but I think it is unlikey that he will make the bench but the experience will help him a lot for future years. Up front presents Fabio Capello with a lot of options but I think he should take a risk with Carlton Cole and Wayne Rooney because it just seems right. The tall Carlton Cole who was the closest to scoring against Spain and the terrier that is Wayne Rooney but he could also put Crouch in after his goal against Ukraine.Theo Walcott may start and his pace will cause the Kazakhstan defence major problems.England Squad:Keepers:Scott Carson (West Brom), Robert Green (West Ham), Paul Robinson (Blackburn).Defenders:Wayne Bridge (Man City), Ashley Cole (Chelsea), Glenn Johnson (Portsmouth), Joleon Lescott (Everton), Gary Neville (Man Utd), John Terry (Chelsea), Matthew Upson (West Ham).Midfielders:Gareth Barry (Aston Villa), David Beckham (LA Galaxy/AC Milan), James Milner (Aston Villa), Steven Gerrard (Liverpool), Frank Lampard (Chelsea), Theo Walcott (Arsenal), Shaun Wright-Phillips (Man City), Ashley Young (Aston Villa);Forwards:Carlton Cole (West Ham), Peter Crouch (Portsmouth), Jermain Defoe (Tottenham), Emile Heskey (Aston Villa), Wayne Rooney (Man Utd)Carlton Cole could start after his impre sive season at West HamProbable line-up: Robert GreenGlenn Johnson John TerryMatthew Upson Ashley ColeTheo WalcottFrank Lampard Gareth BarrySteven Gerrard Wayne Rooney Carlton ColeKazakhstan Squad:Goalkeepers: Alexandr Mokin, Andrei Shabanov, Vladimir Loginovsky, Alexander Petukhov.Defenders: Samat Smakov, Kairat Nurdauletov, Alexander Kislitsyn, Alexander Kuchma, Vladimir Noskov, Alexander Kirov.Midfielders: Sergei Skoryh, Ruslan Baltiev, Nurbol Zhumaskaliyev, Yuri Logvinenko, Sabyrhan Ibraev, Maksat Bayzhanov, Bekzat Beysenov, Tanat Nuserbaev, Talgat Sabalakov, Anton Chichulin, Vyacheslav Erbes, Kairat Ashirbekov, Vadim Borovsky.Strikers: Maxim Azovsky, Sergei Ostapenko, Gleb Maltsev, Erzat Kenbaev.Sergei Ostapenko is the top goalscorer for Kazakhstan and he will need to score a few if they are to beat the star studded England team.Key Players for England:Frank Lampard: The ever present Frank Lampard. His performance in the FA Cup final on Sunday proves that he is definitely in good touch and he has proved his worth in recent matches for both Chelsea and England. Under Capello, Lampard has been sensational and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot Jersey he and Steven Gerrard have finally worked out how to play on the same team. It will be tough for him to break down the Kazahkstan defence as they are likely to be very defensive which means he may have to turn provider for the two strikers up front. Frank is not only a great attacking threat but he is also a great worker for the team and his defensive skills may prove useful against the Kazakhstan team but it is more likely that he will be forced into attack if the Kazakhs get numbers behind the ball.Frank Lampard has been in sensational form for Chelsea but can he keep his form on the international stage.Wayne Rooney: Rooney has been a revelation under Capello. His aggre sion has been used to good effect on the pitch whilst off the pitch he has been an excellent role model for football supporting children all over the country. His pa sion is enough to keep the whole team on a high and without Rooney the England team would definitely have something mi sing. He will have no difficulty in over powering the Kazakhstan defence but the probable defensive nature of the Kazakhs will make scoring difficult. If Rooney performes wellthen I have no doubt that England will win. Wayne Rooney is again proving himself to be an extremely valuable and indespensible player for England. He has found his scoring ability again after a few years without it and has come on leaps and bounds since Fabio took charge.Fabio Capello has managed to tame Rooneys' bad temper which has haunted his career for so long.John Terry: As captain, Terry has to lead England with the most pa sion and he has to be the one that leads by example. He, like Frank Lampard, has performed well on a regular basis for Chelsea and it is those performances that make him one of Englands most important players. His leadership is second to noneand his skill as a defender are world cla s, the ideal man for the captaincy. He is an inspiration to every young footballer in the country and his work ethic is one of the best in the England squad. He will have to make sure his defenders are always ready because the Kazakhs may not attack very often but when they do it may well be a surprise if the defence are not always on their toes.Terry always works untill the end and he proved that by scoring the winner against Ukraine in Englands' last World Cup Qualifyer.HEAD-TO-HEADEngland: Current FIFA ranking: 7thHighest ever ranking: 4 December 1997. Lowest ever ranking: 166 May 1996.Kazakhstan key player:Sergei Ostapenko: Sergei Osatpenko is the Kazakhs leading goal scorer with 3 goals so far this competition for Kazakhstan. However,he will not Jeremiah Martin Jersey only have to try and scorea few goals, he will also have to try andkeep the morale high. It wont be easy and I am sure that he will have a lot of pre sure on his shoulders as he is really Kazakhstans only key player. He could cause England a few problems but I dont think there will be too much for the new England no.1 to deal with!Result Prediction:Kazakhstan 0 3 England (Carlton Cole, Frank Lampard and Theo Walcott)The current standings:TeamPWDLFAPTSENGLAND550016415Croatia531110410Ukraine4211537Belarus4202966Kazakhstan51046163Andorra50051140England will look to increase their lead at the top before they next meet with Croatia so that the pre sure is off but apart from that it looks as though England have a great chance of Qualifying top of group six but Kazakhstan look as though they wont make the cut. The game has is a sell-out over in Kazakhstan and the atmosphere should be good, hopefully England can get a good, comprehensive victory to keep the run of form going!
